The silence from the City Council has been deafening. Council or other official entities in Upshur County have been quite silent since the last council meeting. Not really sure what this means. If you talk to some people who are "in the know", this means that the silos are going to Century and Weatherford's central headquarters is staying on the CJ Martin hill (where it was always meant to be). But with all the lies and smoke & mirrors that have circulated over this issue, I am not holding my breath.
The City needs to tell us that "The Silos are not going to be in North Buckhannon". Yes, they rescinded the right-of-way across Harrison Avenue, but why won't they say..."There will be no Silos in North Buckhannon"? And make the commitment in an official statement. It would put this thing to rest.
One thing is certain. If any new vote concerning the right-of-way access to the proposed Silo site is in the future, Mayor Davidson promised in the last council meeting that he would hold a special meeting with the residents of Buckhannon before that happens.

PLEASE, NO SMALL TRAILERS IN FRONT OF BUILDINGS IN TENNERTON.
There is a small trailer parked in front of Cooks old building by the Middle School, and it is rather unsightly. It ruins the best view of Tennerton. I am going to have to talk to an official concerning this matter.
It reminds me of how all of you said some silly silos would ruin your wonderful view of N. Buckhannon. Well, it just makes me sick driving through Tennerton, now that my view has been ruined.
I hope Weatherford does put there silos somewhere else, and make their property in N. Buckhannon a washbay or something, so their trucks still have to come their EVERYDAY.
Elijah and anyone else who is reading this. Elijah you are a total moron. I did NOT say to outlaw trailers, mobile homes and such. I simply stated that Mr. Cook has blocked my "view" of Tennerton. He has parked a "trailer" along the road at his "tax deduction" building. I say "tax deduction" building because any idiot knows you cant have gambling games next to a school. So, they built and claimed a loss and they make money. Just like always. Now, it is just another vacant business in Tennerton.
As for you being the Mayor of Buckhannon. GIVE ME A BREAK!!! People will run you right out of town, before they elect you Mayor. You are such an ego maniac. Do yourself a favor and give it a rest.
You go on and on about things that people really don't care about.
It won't matter to you where they put those silos, because you will be right there to complain about it. So, what is the diffence: Put them in N. Buckhannon and you will complain, put them somewhere else and OH MY GOSH, there you are again.
One more word of advice to you Elijah. Stop referring to the bible. The bible and religion have it's place in this world, but not amongst debate. Don't criticize people for not being just like you. Not everyone believes the same things as you when it comes to the bible and religion. That is why we have FREEDOM OF RELIGION!!!! We can believe whatever we choose. These are your own words. I think the letter to the Editor in Wednesday's Record Delta was fantastic. It was from the Upshur County Development Authority.
In case you missed it, you should try to get a copy and read it.
They address every question raised in the July 23rd issue of the Delta.
You are leading an emotionally charged assault against Weatherford and it is completely UNACCEPTABLE.
As for you Peter you should know better. As an educated man you should know how to research PROPERLY and not lead people in the wrong direction.
Now, lets talk about Mr. Elijah Luthor! You state that you know RIGHT FROM WRONG!! What makes your OPINIONS so much better than mine. That is just what they are OPINIONS!! You are right in 1 respect, you are a RADICAL, who doesnt know when to shut up. I think it makes you feel more manly or just better about yourself to use big words, because you think people will listen. Well, I have news for you, it just makes you sound ridiculous.

I am not going to start a "crusade" to get rid of the trailer. I was simply making a point that it was there. I did this because Dave Cook owns the property and he is the one that doesnt want the silos to ruin the view of N. Buckhannon, but yet has an empty lot and trailer and an unsightly sign in Tennerton. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. If he doesnt want Weatherford ruining his view of N. Buckhannon then don't ruin our view of Tennerton. UNDERSTAND.
I am not sure that anyone cares that you are a direct bloodline of King Henry VIII. I don't think there is any question why he was married 6 times, if you read his bio. Now, I understand why you wanted everyone to know you are a direct descendent of King Henry VIII. No woman will want to stay married to you either.
