Please come meet our beautiful 92-year-old lady who has lived here all of her life and wants to share her experiences with those who have a kind ear.
Come meet our 90-year-old veteran who has survived a surgery that surgeons would not have even attempted on someone his age if it were not for his 60-year-old mind and body.
Come visit with the lovely nearly-blind lady who just had her bedroom painted a beautiful bird-egg blue that we hope she can enjoy.
Come meet the woman who built her house in 1947 with her husband, raised three children, and have all her family in for every holiday where they meet and remember.

Mr. Galarneau, I share your sentiments and basic principles of the quality of life and of capitalism. But, no matter what we say, we can't seem to convince the powers that be, and that damnable Liberal Bitch under "Anonymous," of the People's Natural Rights. So, words should no longer have any merit unless the People "ACT." The City Council and the Development Authority WILL listen to us or there will be Hell to pay...

This entire issue from the very secretive beginning has been about money over matter and personal gain over principal! There is only one interest of the oil and gas industries and that is to take all of the natural gas resources in WV in any manner they can, and then they will move on. The idea that they care about our enviroment or the people is complete delusional.
Anyone with any common sense should wonder why they must be sworn to not disclose any confidential or proprietary knowledge or information obtained during employment before applying for employment at Weatherford. What does that say about deplomacy?
Therefore, it must be a necessity that citizens stand up to defend themselves against such disreguards. It is more than our rights, it has become our duty!
Concerning MISS PGD - her personal rambling stands without merit to the common cause and should be kept on her own persnal blog!

I can't tell you when the last time is that someone actually mentioned the issue at hand.
I hope all of you read the letter to the editor in todays Record Delta. I am sure that Mr. Galarneau will be posting it for all to read. I enjoyed it very much, and I didn't even write it.
I agree completly with the whole letter. Everything in it, is exactly what I have been trying to tell everyone. It is just that nobody would listen.
Our elected officials were not "ELECTED" by the people of North Buckhannon, they were elected by all in the city of Buckhannon. So, what exactly is in the best interest of all the people? Look at the big picture.
My opinion is let Weatherford put the silos where the want and let Buckhannon prosper.
WE DO NOT WANT WEATERFORD TO LEAVE BUCKHANNON.WE JUST DONT THEM IN NORTH BUCKHANNON.THERE ARE OTHER PLACES THEY CAN PUT THERE SILOS.DID ANY ONE READ DR.GREENBIER ALMOND WRITE UP IN THE DELTA SEPT 03.WE ARE ONLY TRYING TO KEEP ARE HOMES AND CHILDREN SAFE.IF YOU HAD CHILDERN YOU WOULD WANT TO KEEP THEM SAFE FROM ANY THING THAT WOULD MAKE THEM SICK YEARS LATER.SO PLEASE DONT PUT THE NORTH BUCKHANNON COMMUNITY DOWN.HOPE SOMEONE OUT THERE WILL HELP US TO KEEP THEM FROM THIS AREA.GOD BLESS EVER ONE WHO READS THIS AND UNDERSTANDS OUR CONCERNS.
As I was going to Lowes this morning, I was shocked to see a white sheet hanging over the Corridor H overpass!! I could not read it and drive safely in such a risky area of traffic. However, I did see the words Weatherford and a name of a citizen of N.Buckhannon. When I came back from Lowes the banner had been removed. I hope that the law enforcement investigates (and it should be easy), and holds the person or persons accountable for their negligence and utmost stupidity in risking inocent lives!
I'd like to know if anyone else seen the banner and was able to read it.
Someone has lost their mind and it is time for the "elected officials" to stop their plotting and open their mouths! The time for delays are over!!!!!

When will the Letter to the Editor in the Sept. 6 issue of The Inter Mountain and Sept. 10 issue of the Record Delta be posted for everyone to see? It makes some really good points.
Sometimes your anonymous and sometimes your not,whatever, your foolish games,personal attacks, and predjudice character is always your signature. So therefore your "good points" letter contains several inaccurate(*not exact,with mistakes or errors, incorrect)statements! The "few residents" consist of over 300 and the "elected officials" should serve N.Buckhannon as well as East,West, and South Buckhannon - wherever the situation demands it!
And, there has been only ONE public information meeting (not meetings). Rest assured that the ones that you bash do not prosess the power to stop anything, only God can. Progrss(*steady improvement) is and has been proceeding since the day this city was founded in the 1800's. The pride for this town is in the motto: "The Pride of Tommorrow with the Dignity of Yesterday". And, from the book "The 100 Best Small Towns in America" our volunteerism is flourishing.
In point, this letter is self serving and a complete disgrace to the entire city of Buckhannon, just like the banner hanging from the overpass!! So, "shame on you"(lol)
